1 lakh for people who win the Chief Minister Trophy

Tamilnadu Chief Minister Ms. J Jayalalitha has taken initiatives to promote sports champions for National and International events. The Chief Minister�s wants Tamilnadu to stand first in sports and other related activities.
The Chief Minister Trophy tournament happened last year was a huge success. This year Chief Minister has announced that 1 lakh will be given to sportsmen and women who win Gold; 75,000 for silver and 50,000 for Bronze. More than 8 Crores has been allotted for this tournament. All men and women from different districts are expected to participate in this tournament.
