TASMAC outlets closed on Independence Day

All Tasmac outlets in Chennai will remain closed on Independence Day (August 15,2013), According to a press release from the Collector’s office, all licensed bars and retail liquor outlets will remain closed under rule 12 of the Tamil Nadu Liquor Retail Vending (in shops and bars) Rules.Similarly the bars run by hoteliers and those located in tourist places should also down their shutters on that day.
