Tamilnadu Governor K Rosaiah, Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and other leaders today extended their Ramzan greetings to Muslims.
The Governor said, `I extend my heartiest greetings and good wishes to all my Muslim brethren. May Id-ul-Fitr, the festival of breaking the fast rekindle in us the spirit of self-control, promote unity and harmony and bring in happiness, peace and prosperity.`
The Chief Minister said, On this day of holy Ramzan, let us all work hard to make Tamilnadu a numero one State in every field.Let us live up to the teachings of Prophet Mohammed who preached love, compassion, service to the fellow beings. I wish the Muslim fraternity a very happy Ramzan once again.
In his message, Union Minister for Shipping G K Vasan said, `I wish people prosperity and well being. Let us have a feeling of compassion, fraternity, and show love on each other. Let the blessing of the Almighty be showered amidst you all.`
