Tamil Nadu Day is celebrated today!
The day of 18th July 1967, was the day on which the Province of Madras was changed to the Province of Chennai!
This day is being celebrated as `Tamil Nadu Day` by the State Government of Tamil Nadu!
As Tamil Nadu Day is being celebrated today (Monday, 18th July), various offices/buildings in Chennai are adorned with special lighting and glittering with colourful lights!
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin is set to deliver a special address on this occasion at a video conference at Chennai Kalaivanar Arangam!
On this celebratory occasion, a seminar, a release of short films, etc., are planned.
Further, awards such as `Ilakkiya Maamani`, Kabilar Award, and U. Ve, Sa. Award, etc., are to be presented to the awardees!
Moreover, items discovered at Keezhadi will also be on display!
