Whats new about this sudden human chain in Chennai yesterday?

Just recently, a human chain was formed in Chennai and it grabbed many eyeballs. Yesterday, 15th June 2022, another human chain was formed and it took many by surprise.
Yesterday, it was the World Elders Abuse Awareness Day and to create awareness regarding a human chain was formed in Chennai. In this human chain, nearly 300 children took part. It is well known to us that many elders face abuse from others and have been finding it difficult. Dr. Natarajan Geriatric Foundation organised this human chain yesterday.
Many elders have been facing social, economic and other forms of abuse. This was according to Mr. Rajasekaran Manimaran, co-founder. He revealed the stand taken to inculcate important values in the kids regarding giving respect to the elderly persons.
The foundation mentioned above for a long time has been playing its part to support the elder persons. He threw light on how the middle aged persons are already in conflicts with the elder persons.
Hence, reaching out to the next generation kids by means of a human chain was the right move. It is now said that the kids would play their role in providing their support for the elder persons at times of crisis.
