ECR and OMR to be linked by a 4-lane road
Chennai�s major roads � OMR and ECR are set to get improved. The Thoraipakkam � Pallavaram radial road on the OMR is set to pass through some portion of government higher secondary school, private and few vacant lands of Neelankarai.
As per the proposal of CMDA - Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority, the alignment of the road was approved by the high-level steering committee of state government. As the CMDA froze the alignment approval, the land owners were not provided with the permission for making any construction.
