Alert for vehicle drivers: traffic changes in certain sections in Chennai Metro City: from today 4th June!!

A temporary change in the present traffic routine is being adopted on a trial basis from today (Saturday, 4th June) for 10 days in Chennai Metro City�s Anna Salai, Spencer Junction, Adyar, and Madhya Kailash.
In a notification released by the Chennai Metro City Traffic, it is mentioned:
�During the peak traffic periods in morning and evening sessions, certain temporary changes are being made in Spencer Junction and Smith Road Junction!
The vehicles coming from the Spener Junction can proceed to Whites Road via Smith Road. The vehicles coming from the Tower Clock Junction can reach Anna Salai via Patula�sRoad.
Vehicles coming from Patula�s Road can take a �U-turn opposite the Raymond�s Shop.
Due to the above-mentioned changes, the signal at Smith Road is stopped temporarily!
With this change, the vehicles proceeding towards Anna Salai can move on without any disturbance along!
Similarly, to reduce the acute traffic congestion experienced in the Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR) and the East Coast Road (ECR) with a large number of Information Technology (IT) industries, certain traffic changes are being carried out today (Saturday, 4th Juen) at the Madhya Kailash Junction!
The vehicles proceeding to Adyar via OMR and Indira Nagar Junction, have to turn left towards Rajiv Gandhi Salai (backside of Madhya Kailash), and reach Sardar Patel and take a �U-turn under the Gandhi Mandapam over bridged and then reach the CBT Junction via Sardar Patel Road again. From here, they can proceed to their destinations. Or else, the vehicles proceeding to Adyar from OMR can take a right turn at the Indira Nagar signal, then move to Indira Nagar 2nd Avenue Road (the water tank road) and then through the Indira Nagar 1st Avenue Junction to reach Lattice Bridge Road!"
