Coast Guard took part in a first responder training programme

GVK Emergency Management and Research Institute (EMRI)�108 had conducted a first responder training programme on Tuesday for a team of 25 to 30 persons from the Coast Guard. The training programme, conducted focused on common emergencies such as chest pain, fall, burns and poisoning. It imparted the dos and don�ts of responding to an emergency situation to the participants. Such first responder training programmes have been held for the police, railway protection force, students and corporate workers.
