Discharged cancer patients received superb gift from Chennais Apollo Cancer Centres!!

On Thursday, 7th April 2022, all the 14 Chennai�s Apollo Cancer Centres distributed saplings to the discharged cancer patients. This was done on the occasion of World Health Day yesterday.
It was later mentioned by Harshad Reddy Director-Operations (Group Oncology and International) Apollo Cancer Centres that individuals must work collectively together towards a healthy future and co-create a better planet. He then threw light on how environmental hazards like air and water pollution, negative impacts of climate change were the most important reasons for health threats.
To stress on the need for a healthy lifestyle and preserving nature for good, Apollo Hospitals has undertaken many initiatives are known. The theme for this year`s World Health Day was Our Planet Our Health. Mr. Harshad Reddy explained that due to the superb theme, saplings were distributed to the discharged cancer patients this year. He added that a simple move made today would make a healthy tomorrow.
Cancer and other non-communicable diseases would become number one killers in the future and this was as per medical director, Apollo Proton Care Centre, Dr. Rakesh Jalal.
As many as 4500 saplings have been distributed to patients across 14 Apollo cancer centres. This was pointed out by Mr. Harish Trivedi, CEO of Apollo Proton Cancer Centre.
