Notice to be send for 50 schools that have collected excess fees

The Matric Schools Directorate has decided to send notices to 50 schools in Tamil Nadu who have collected more than the stipulate fee determined by the Tamil Nadu Government. This Tamilnadu Private School fee structure has been released by the Committee for which Justice Shri.S.R.Singaravelu is the Chairman. This Committee verified the infrastructure declared by the school management and fixed the school fee accordingly.
The committee has also sternly warned the schools that they should not collect the fees more than the stipulated amount. In spite of this six schools in Chennai and forty four schools all over Tamil Nadu have been collecting exorbitant fees than the stipulated amount. Many complaints regarding this have been received by the Directorate. So it has been decided to take action against these schools. Notices are being sent to these schools.
