A schedule on the battery operated vehicles has been released by GCC and by this tracking the conservancy works in Chennai has been made easier. On the official website of the civic body, details have been released now. This was according to the Chennai Corporation release.
It must be noted that the details of 5 zones like Tondiarpet, Royapuram, Thiru Vi Ka Nagar, Ambattur and Anna Nagar were released. The status of the battery operated vehicles, trip details, time of operation streetwise etc. It is known that GCC carries out conservancy works directly in the above said 5 zones in Chennai. The conservancy works of the remaining 10 zones have been given to private contractors.
