The new facility for the commuters/travelling public to procure tickets for travel in the suburban electric train services from the Chennai Metro Rail Stations will be made available shortly!
Information is gathered that the number of passengers/regular commuters in the Chennai Metro Rail Service has been increasing considerably!
Especially after the relaxations of the restrictions imposed during the coronavirus pandemic related lockdown periods, the number of passengers availing the Chennai Metro Rail Services and the Chennai Metro City Suburban Electric Train services have been increasing gradually!
In this scenario, the Chennai Metro Rail Administration has released an announcement regarding a new facility for passengers/commuters.
It is mentioned in this notification that arrangements are being made at the Chennai Metro stations including Central, Egmore, and Guindy to issue tickets for the Chennai Metro City Suburban Electric Train Services! This facility will be implemented shortly!
