North Chennai could get an amazing new sports complex

North Chennai is often associated with sports culture!!
In future, at RK Nagar in north Chennai, a new sports complex would be constructed at a cost of rs 10 crores. This would be a boost for north Chennai sporting spirit. It is now clear that infrastructure for various sports like volleyball, badminton, boxing, kabbadi and modern gym etc would be set up in north Chennai.
It is common to come across children and youths playing sports in north Chennai in any open space available. When compared to other parts of Chennai, north Chennai does not have a proper sporting infrastructure also. This was according to C. Latha, secretary of TN Athletic Association.
All the sports enthusiasts would be brought under one common roof by means of a sports complex. This was mentioned by Mr. M. Nagarathinam, district sports and youth welfare officer. Truth is that many youth in north Chennai have got superb talent in football, boxing etc and they must be encouraged well.
