Announcement regarding issuing Rs 1000 per month for the housewives in TN

Some time back, it was mentioned that the housewives in Tamil Nadu would be given Rs 1000 per month by the government.
The news now is that expectations have increased about the announcement of this amount in the forthcoming budget session. It is known that on 18th March 2022, a budget session would take place. This was mentioned by Mr. Appavu, speaker at the Assembly. On that day at 10 am in the morning, a budget would be filed for the year 2022-23 in the assembly by the finance minister. Just like last year, in this year also a paperless budget would be there and it would be filed by using a computer touch screen process.
After the office review committee meeting, details about the number of days for which the conducting Assembly would be conducted, number of days for which discussion about budget etc would be known. It must be noted that the day when the agriculture budget would be filed would be announced after the above mentioned meeting. Prior request for grants for the year 2022-23 and announcement about the final sub-financial position for the year 2021-22 etc would be filed in the Assembly by the finance minister.
After the office review committee meeting, information about the date on which grant requests of the government would be held would be known. Important piece of information is that the budget session would be telecast live for the public. Like the previous budget session, this forthcoming budget session would also have a question and answer session. The budget session might also have unfulfilled promises by the DMK government. It is also expected that an announcement regarding issuing Rs 1000 per month for all the housewives in TN might be there.
It is noteworthy that during the urban local body elections campaign the chief minister has promised to provide Rs 1000 for the women.
