A new pension plan to be launched for those who are getting a basic salary of more than Rs 15000!!

If a person�s basic salary is below Rs 15000 at the time of joining the job in an organisation then he or she would be covered under the Employee�s Pension Scheme or EPS 95.It must be noted that the organisation would pay 8.33% of his or her salary as the pension amount. It is known that some of the persons who earn more than Rs 15000 as their basic salary are members of employees provident fund office or EPFO. For these persons, 8.33% of the basic salary has been earmarked as their pension money.
The news that has emerged out now is that the PF office is considering launching a new pension scheme for those earning a basic salary of Rs 15000 and above. It is now said that on the 11th and on 12th of March there would be some discussions regarding launching of a new pension scheme for the above mentioned persons.
