Sensational information about the shock wave that was recorded in Chennai

Posted on: 17/Jan/2022 10:53:20 AM
How many residents of Chennai know that Chennai recorded a shock wave a couple of days back?

At about 8:15pm on Saturday, Chennai recorded a shock wave and this was recorded by the barometer at Meenambakkam.

It must be taken into note that at Tonga volcanic eruption took place and this led to shock waves in the Pacific Ocean and shock waves in Chennai. This was as per RMC in Chennai. It is now said that the sea temperature has been altered and there might be some changes in the rainfall prediction in the future.

At Tongo, the volcano erupted to a height of atleast 20 Km and this led to pressure in the atmosphere leading to shock waves in the Pacific Ocean across India. Truth is that all the barometers captured the shock wave for a few minutes. The barometer at Meenambakkam also captured the shock waves and this was according to Mr. N. Puviarasan, director of Area Cyclone Warning center Chennai.

It is worthy to mention here that the shock wave occurred only in the atmosphere and no vibration on the land. Hence, there wont be any chance of an earthquake. Sea surface temperature on the Pacific Ocean that has been used till now to predict excess rainfall etc might become useless hereafter as the sea surface temperature has been altered. This was as per an officer belonging to RMC. He later mentioned that the change in sea temperature would be monitored by means of satellite by Australia and they would note the degree of the altered temperature etc.
