The number of Coronavirus cases has been increasing every day in Tamil Nadu and the government has been taking many steps to control the spread of this fast spreading infection.
Recently, the government has announced that there would be night curfew on all days and total lockdown on all Sundays etc to curb the spread of Coronavirus infection. As per the latest data, in the last 24 hours more than 13000 persons were infected with Coronavirus infection in TN. If this goes on, then it is predicted that the daily cases would become more than 70,000 also.
The shocking piece of information is that out of total persons infected with Coronavirus infection in the entire state, 50% were from Chennai city itself. To prevent spreading of this deadly infection from one person to another in Chennai, many measures have been taken by the government. The government has announced that it wants to increase vaccinations and make more people get vaccinated.
It has been brought out that GCC would be providing a booster dose of vaccinations for those persons above the age of 60 with co-morbid conditions etc at their homes itself. Point is that those who are above the age of 60, those who had received even a single vaccination dose and those who have not yet received their second dose of vaccination would be given vaccinations at their homes now.
