4 Special Trains to be operated on the occasion of the Pongal Festival!

4 Special Trains are to be operated from Chennai Metro City to places including Thirunelveli and Nagercoil.
The official announcement on this is expected in the next 1 or 2 days.
- As per the Superfast Express (06001) starting from Tambaram at 9.45 PM on 12th January will reach Thirunelveli the next day morning at 8.15 AM.
- On the return trip, the superfast express train (06002) starting from Thirunelveli at 9.30 PM on 13th January will reach Tanmbaram the next day morning at 7.55 AM.
- The Special train (06005) starting from Chennai Egmore at 3.30 PM on 13th January will reach Nagercoil the next day early morning at 4.20 AM.
- On the return trip, the special train (06006) starting at 3.10 PM on 14th January will reach Chennai Egmore the next day morning at 5.20 AM.
- The special train (06004) starting from Nagercoil at 3.15 PMon 16th January will reach Tambaram the next day morning at 4.10 AM.
- On the return trip, the special train (06005) starting from Tambaram at 3.45 PM on 17th January will reach Nagercoil the next day morning at 4.20 AM.
- The Special Train (060040) starting from Thirunelveli at 7.00 PM on 16th January will reach Tambaram the next day morning at 7.55 AM.
- On the return trip, the special train (06039) starting from Tambaram at 10.45 AM will reach Thirunelveli on the same day at 10.30 PM.
It is expected that Southern Railway will come up with an announcement regarding the above special trains shortly!
