After reducing, the Coronavirus infection has been increasing once again in the last few days in Tamil Nadu. This has made many to worry now. Important information is that yesterday as many as 1631 Coronavirus positive cases were reported in Tamil Nadu. There were as many as 25 deaths yesterday due to this deadly and rapidly spreading infection. The total number of Coronavirus infections in Tamil Nadu stands at 2630592 now.
In Tamil Nadu, the death toll due to this infection has increased to 12438 now. As many as 462 persons who have been affected with Coronavius recovered yesterday.
As the incidence of Coronavirus infection has been increasing in the last 3 days, the government of Tamil Nadu has issued orders to the district administrations to increase the number of tests.
The health secretary of TN, Mr J. Radhakrishnan has asked the officials to be alert as the number of cases would increase. He added that the gradual increase in TPR or test positivity rate was responsible for the rise in the cases. He threw light on the importance of the mega vaccination camp on Sunday for developing immunity in the public. Exclusive wards would be set up in the hospitals in the headquarters to handle Nipah virus cases.
