Direct classes to commence tomorrow for the Final Year Students of Anna University!

Even as the State Government of Tamil Nadu had announced the reopening of schools for the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th Standards and the colleges from 1st September, information is gathered that Anna University has also decided to commence direct classes for the Final Year Students 0f Anna University.
Due to the raging pandemic of coronavirus spread, all the schools and colleges in Tamil Nadu State have remained closed during the last 19 months or more and as such ONLY ONLINE Classes are being conducted.
However, as the impact/extent of the coronavirus pandemic has been gradually but remarkably subsiding over the last few weeks, several relaxations have been announced by the Tamil Nadu State Government!
As per this, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has permitted all schools (for the students of higher classes from 9th to 12th) and colleges from tomorrow (Wednesday, 1st September).
Accordingly, Anna University has also ordered the commencement of direct classes for the Final Year Students of Anna University from 1st September. Anna University administration has further announced that ONLINE CLASSES WILL CONTINUE for other students!
Only if a full-fledged hostel facility is available, students of all years can be called to attend direct classes. So, the colleges have been advised to reopen classes for the other year students once the full-fledged hostel facilities start functioning!
