Health care facility for everyone in TN!!
To reduce the financial hardships and to provide quality healthcare, and to move towards an universal coverage by linking with the public health system, the TN government had launched the chief minister�s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme. Point is that this health insurance scheme is being processed by United India Insurance Company Ltd.
It is important to note that the scheme provides coverage for meeting all the expenses regarding hospitalization of the beneficiary as defined in the scope of the scheme.
With the looming threat of the third Coronavirus infection wave, it is necessary that people must have this insurance scheme and get benefited and those who haven�t joined this CMHIS must do this.
First, applications for the CMHIS scheme must be filled and then the signature of a village administration officer or VAO must be obtained. The applications must then be submitted at the district collector�s office. The photographs of those who are interested to join this health scheme would be taken and registration numbers would be provided. Within a few days, membership cards would be sent to the homes of those who are interested in joining this health insurance scheme.
Information collected is that there is no need to worry if the person does not get his or her membership card. With their registration numbers itself, they could get treatment under the chief minister�s health insurance scheme. The objective behind this health insurance scheme was to make the people get treatment for their health issues in both private as well as in the government hospitals in TN.
