Applications to join Government Arts & Science Colleges commences today (25th July)! The procedure!

The State Government of Tamil Nadu had announced earlier that admissions will be conducted for joining the 143 Government Arts and Science Colleges in the State.
The Department of College Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that interested students may visit the websites: www.tngasa.org OR www.tngasa.in and apply ONLINE.
It has been announced further that for the students who are unable to apply ONLINE, they may visit the Admission Facilitation centre-AFC and apply.
There will be no application fee for the students belonging to the cadre of SC/ST. A registration fee of Rs. 2/- must be paid.
For the other cadres, the Application Fee is Rs. 48/- and the Registration Fee is Rs. 2/-. Students may pay these and register their applications!
It has been announced that the admission in the State Government Arts & Science Colleges commences today (Monday, 26th July) and will conclude on 10th August.
It is further announced that the students who are unable to make the payment of fees online can take a Demand Draft for the amount and send it to The director directorate of collegiate education Chennai-6. They can make the payment directly to the above address as well.
