From Monday, the application process for TNEA will begin!!

Important piece of information for the students who are interested in joining engineering colleges in TN!!
From today, 26th July 2021, application process for TNEA or Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions will begin. Many private engineering colleges this time around are hoping to fill up their seats as 100% pass percentage has been recorded in TN class12 public examinations.
It was brought to light by Mr. T.D. Easwaramoorthy, joint secretary of Consortium of Self Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in TN that this time good number of enquiries has been received from the students and parents. It is said that the admission figures would be better this time as reflected by the trend.
It must not be forgotten that last year nearly 70% of the seats remained vacant in the private engineering colleges in TN. Information is that there are 340 private engineering colleges in TN with more than 1.5lakh seats. The demand for engineering seats would increase more this time because the TN government had signed many MoU�s that would help in large scale employment. The students would prefer engineering due to the demand of skilled manpower in various sectors.
As per a lecturer belonging to a private engineering college, parents would want to enrol their kids in the engineering courses (for the engineering degree plus for job opportunity sake) this year as all the students have passed. Computer science engineering and IT would have huge demand this year too just like the previous years. This was as per some education experts.
