Huge relief!! After nearly 3 months, this has happened now in Tamil Nadu!!

In the month of May in TN, fresh Coronavirus cases kept on increasing and it created huge problems for many. The total lockdown has been tremendous and now after 81 days the number of fresh or new cases went down below 5000 in TN. This has been spoken highly now by many.
On Monday, 28th June 2021, the number of fresh cases went below 5000 and there were 4804 cases. It must be noted that Tamil Nadu had as many as 40954 active cases. Information is that the cumulative tally crossed 24.7lakhs and the death toll reached 32388.
Health minister, Mr. M. Subramanian expressed his thoughts. He spoke about how on 8th April TN logged 4276 fresh Covid-19 cases. He explained that the cases declined steadily and due to that restrictions were relaxed in some places. Public must not be casual now and they must still continue wearing facemasks, maintain social distance etc compulsorily.
The district of Coimbatore, Erode and Salem reported 597 cases, 506 cases respectively and 318 cases on Monday. Other districts had reported less than 300 cases only. Chennai, Trichy and Madurai districts had 291 cases, 185 cases and 78 cases respectively. Less than 100 fresh Covid-19 cases were reported in atleast 22 districts belonging to TN. It is superb to note that 50 districts had less than 50 fresh cases each. The least number of fresh Covid-19 cases were reported in the Perambalur district.
In TN, 98 deaths were reported yesterday. As many as9 deaths were reported in Madurai district and 7 deaths in Coimbatore district. Districts such as Salem, Cuddalore, Tiruvallur and Ranipet etc reported 6 deaths each. District of Kanniyakumari reported 5 deaths and others like Chennai and Trichy reported 4 deaths each. Not a single death was reported from 7 districts in TN and the recovery rate was 97% in Tamil Nadu.
