Decision on admissions in VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) released!

The results regarding admissions to join the engineering courses � B. Tech. � in the current Academic Year have been released.
For the admissions in the academic year 2021, students from all the 31 states and the 8 Union Territories in India as well as students from other countries such as Dubai, Kuwait, Muscat, Qatar, Bahrain, Singapore and Mauritius wrote the examinations.
In this regard, the Chancellor of VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) G. Viswanathan shared:
�Admissions to the B. Tech. Courses will be based on the marks obtained in the Entrance Examinations. Counselling is scheduled to commence on 21st June and conclude on 16th July in 4 Phases. Ranks 1st to 20000 will have counselling from 21st & 22nd June. Ranks from 20001 to 45000 will have counselling on 30th June and 1st July.
Ranks 45001 to 70000 will have counselling on 8th & 9th July.
Ranks 700001 to 100000 will have counselling on 15th & 16th July.
The students who obtained ranks 1 to 10000 will have admissions in VIT Vellore, Chennai, Andhra, and Bhopal.
For the students who scored ranks after 100000, admissions will be available ONLY in VIT Andhra and VIT Bhopal.

For the students who secured the first ranks in the +2 examinations conducted by the Special Education Assistance Central Education Board under the GV School Education Development Scheme, admission will be offered for the VIT B. Tech. Courses for 4 years with 100% education 100% Fees concession and 75% fees concession for the students who secured ranks 2 to 50. For the students who secured ranks from 512 to 100, 50% concession on the Fees will be given. For the students who secured ranks from 101 to 200, 25% concession academic fees will be given.
For the boy and girl students who secured the 1st Ranks in +2 in the Government High Schools in the States of Tamil Nadu, Andhra, and Madhya Pradesh, VIT will offer 100% Education Fee concession, free Hostel (boarding and lodging) under the VIT STARS SCHEME.
