The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu is inaugurating the distribution of the corona relief fund of Rs. 2000/- (Monday, 10th May) As soon as assuming office as the new Chief Minister of the State of Tamil Nadu, M K Stalin signed the 5 important orders including women�s free travel in government buses, reducing the price of milk, etc.
He also announced the relief amount of Rs. 2000/- to the ration card holders due to the havoc caused by the prevalent resurgent coronavirus pandemic!
With the spread of the resurgent of the being quite fast and wide causing huge hardships to the public, it had already been announced earlier that to provide relief to a certain extent and to help the lifeline especially of the economically backward section of the society, for all the Rice Ration Card Holders will be given Rs. 4000/-, at a total expense of Rs. 4153.39 Crores for around 20767000 Family Ration Card Holders!
Accordingly, Chief Minister Stalin is inaugurating this scheme today (Monday, 10th May)!
Due to the prevailing resurgent corona infection, the Officials of the Department of Food of the Tamil Nadu State Government are set to make house-to-house visits and distribute tokens!
This token will have the details of the number of the shop, name, card holder�s name, date and time of distribution. Accordingly, the corona relief fund is set to be distributed to 200 cardholders per day per shop!
