Chennai college students have found a new way now to earn sufficient pocket money

The colleges or higher educational institutions in Chennai and in TN have been closed now due to the spike in the Coronavirus infections is known. This has not made the students dull and depressed.
Now, the college students have found a way to earn handsome pocket money now by doing several election related works such as distributing pamphlets to the households, participating in the election rally with the candidates plus maintaining poll expenses, meeting voters on social media and preparing booth slips for the electorates etc.
By doing part time work related to the election works in Pallavaram, a final year college student is earning Rs 600 per day. This final year college student expressed his views about earning money by doing work related to the election. He mentioned that students get a regular income either on an hourly basis or on a daily basis based on their work. He threw light on how he would start the campaign work by 6am along with the candidates who would canvass door-to-door. In the evenings, he would take part in the campaign. Point is that payment varies from party to party and the range would be from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 excluding petrol and food allowance.
