The officials have been working to bring down the number of Covid-19 cases now without affecting the economy in Chennai!!

It is learnt that for now, there would not be a complete lockdown in Chennai. The truth is that the spike in the Covid-19 cases has put the focus back on the public places plus on the crowding in Chennai. On Tuesday, an expert medical committee meeting took place in Chennai and at the meeting there were discussions regarding the reasons for the surge in the Coronavirus cases.

A road map has been planned now to curb the spread of this infection in Chennai plus to strengthen the SOPs at the workplaces. If the malls and multiplexes in Chennai do not follow the Covid-19 protocols then there might be further restrictions. This was highlighted by Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, chief secretary. It is worthy to note that Covid Fatigue has set in among the people and this has led to the violation of the rules. This was as per the export committee. The committee later advised the state to expedite the vaccination drive.

It was later brought to light by a spokesperson of a famous shop in T. Nagar that they have been following SOPs advised by the TN government ever since the operations resumed after the lockdown. He assured that there would not be any slackening of the SOPs in the future too.

As per Pooja Patti, mall director, Phoenix market city and Palladium in Velachery, it was clear that strict adherence to the SOPs has been followed since reopening after the lockdown. The mall director then spoke about how they have associated with GCC to vaccinate their employees. Truth is that their retail partners and staff have received their first Covaxin shots. The corporation officials are now keeping an eye on various places like Marina Beach, cinema theatres, multiplexes etc.
