Resurgent corona spreads through contacts: TN Govt Health Secretary

The Secretary for Health of the State Government of Tamil Nadu, J. Radhakrishnan has categorically declared that stringent immediate action will be taken on failure to strictly adhere to the guidelines given for preventing the spread of the resurgent coronavirus pandemic!
In a session with the press reporters today (Tuesday, 23rd March) the Health Secretary shared:
�The resurgent coronavirus has been spreading quite fast in some areas in the state of Tamil Nadu. WHOLE-HEARTED COOPERATION AND FOLLOW-UP BY THE PUBLIC ARE VERY ESSENTIAL TO CHECK THIS SPREAD!
IT IS ESTABLISHED THAT THE SPREAD IS MAINLY BECAUSE OF THE UNINFECTED PEOPLE IN CONTACT WITH THE INFECTED CITIZENS AND THUS ENABLE SPREADING OF THE DISEASE!
In this regard, persons belonging to families in the residential areas of Kolathur, Nanganallur, Kodambakkam, and Adambakkam (suburban areas of Chennai Metro City) have been infected with the resurgent coronavirus pandemic.
In the areas covering Thanjavur and the surroundings the extent of the spread of infection will reduce gradually!
Instructions have been issued to undertake additional tests per day in the corona infection test centres in Chennai, Thiruvallur, Coimbatore, and Kanchipuram districts.
I appeal that all citizens MUST wear face masks! They MUST extend full and wholehearted cooperation to ensure the proper check and prevention of the resurgent coronavirus spread!
Stringent immediate action will be taken on the citizens who FAIL to observe the above appeal!�
