Aadhar Card NOT MANDATORY for pensioners as proof of living!

The Central Government has informed that it is NO MORE MANDATORY for the pensioners to get the �living proof� certificate through electronic medium

It may be noted here that ALL PENSIONERS NEED TO SUBMIT PROOF OF LIVING EVERY YEAR TO RECEIVE THEIR MONTHLY PENSIONS. Only after this, they will continue receiving the monthly pension. Until now, AADHAAR CARD WAS MANDATORY TO SHOW while applying to get the electronic �proof of living� certificate.

In this situation, the Central Ministry of Electronics and Telecommunication have released a new announcement.

As per this, it is notified that Aadhar card IS NOT MANDATORY to receive the electronic �proof of living� certificate. However, the citizens are given the option to decide on their own whether to submit Aadhar card particulars!

By getting the electronic �proof of living� certificate, the pensioners can avoid visiting the concerned officers in person! However, there are still occasions where electronic �proof of living� a certificate could not be received because of the issues of not presenting the Aadhar card or improper fingerprints.  Now, a solution has been found for this issue! Henceforth, it is sufficient for the pensioners to the cub, it any other proof apart from Aadhar.

It is further notified that AADHAR CARD IS NOT MANDATORY for the attendance registration systems in offices and instead, the App �Santhosh�, created by the Central Ministry of Electronics and Telecommunication can be used.
