Rocket-like spurt in the number of coronavirus patients in Chennai Metro City!

The status of the number of coronavirus-infected persons as on today morning (Wednesday, 17th March) has increased to 2135. The number of patients confirmed with coronavirus as of yesterday (Tuesday, 16th March) has gone up to 352.
As per the statistics furnished by the Greater Chennai Corporation, in the 15 regions of GCC in Chennai Metro City, a maximum of 227 persons have been affected in Teynampet, 217 in Kodambakkam, and 250 in Anna Nagar. All are under treatment.
The number of patients which was just 216 in Anna Nagar yesterday has increased to 250 today! The number of infected has been increasing in a similar trend in other regions.
Just a few weeks ago, the number of infected was less than 200 in all the regions in the Chennai Metro City. However, since last week, this number has shot up in several regions, especially in Kodambakkam, shooting up to 300 patients!
As per the status on today morning (Wednesday, 17th March), the total number of persons infected with coronavirus stands at 239483. Out of this, 233136 patients have recovered. 4182 persons died!
