Do you know 11 GCC zones reported positive growth of fresh COVID cases now?

The daily Covid-19 infection numbers are increasing and Chennai has been registering fresh or new Covid-19 cases are a known fact. Now, GCC has released the data and as per the data it is clear that the average growth rate on new Covid-19 cases in the last 7 days till Sunday was 2.4%.
It is now said that in as many as 11 GCC zones there has been a positive growth of fresh Covid-19 positive cases. Four important GCC zones like Manali, Tiruvottriyur, Madhavaram and Kodambakkam do not have that much positive growth of fresh cases. It must be recalled that for the week that ended on 3rdOctober Chennai had an average growth rate of 2.7% and 12 out of 15 GCC zones showed a positive growth. The growth rate of positive cases reduced to minus 2.4% by 19th October.
As per a GCC officer, the cases have been increasing and there are 300 new Covid-19 cases reported in Chennai city now. This is much higher now than a few weeks back. Various zones like Sholinganallur, Perungudi and Tondiarpet have growth rates above 10 now. Truth is that Sholinganallur has got a positive growth rate of 12.8% and is the highest and Perungudi and Tondiarpet have got 10.1% and 6.9% growth rate. More than 5% growth rate has been witnessed in zones like Anna Nagar and Thiru Vi-Ka Nagar etc.
Other GCC zones like Alandur and Teynampet have more than 3percent. Valasaravakkam zone has got more than 4percrent. In south Chennai, Adyar zone has got just less than 1% growth rate.
