Even as early as the 1st week of March, symptoms of scorching summer have already started!
Even much earlier than the peak summer periods such as Agni Nakshatram or Kathiri veyil, it has already started scorching!
It is a well-known observation that many citizens prefer to stay inside their residences rather than venturing out in this scorching summer!
Here are a few routines to follow to pass over this summer with extra protection:
Dress:
Wear only light-coloured dress during ths summer! Darks shades DO ABSORB HEAT! Thus enhancing the already scorching heat! Perspiration is an inevitable process in summer! So, wear only light-coloured clothes!
Outing:
Whenever venturing out in the sun, wear cooling glasses to ensure protection to the eyes! It will protect from the ultraviolet rays radiated by the sun! As such, endure buying a cooling glass with ultra-violet rays protection by 90-100%!
While outing in the sun, it is better to wear a protective hat which will prevent heat exposure to the body/skin! The hat/cap will tend to keep the head rather cool and also protect from the radiation from the scorching sun!
How to keep the body moisture content:
It is just OK to drink more water during summer! However, AVOID DRINKING FRIDGE WATER! NOTE THAT DRINKING CHILLED WATER ESPECIALLY IMMEDIATELY AFTER RETURNING FROM AN OUTING WILL HARM THE BODY IN MANY WAYS! So, on return from an outing, drink water that is at room temperature or the eater from an earthen pot!
Juice:
It is super to avoid taking carbonated drinks and take fruit juices instead! Especially, DOUBLE OK TO the juices of the summer-special seasonal fruits such as watermelon, muskmelon, and lemon. It is even better to drink these fruit juices WITHOUT SUGAR! This will prevent additional calories in the body!
Coffee, Tea, and Alcoholic Beverages:
NOTE AVOIDING THESE WILL HELP PRESERVE THE MOISTURE CONTENT IN THE BODY! NOTE THAT THE DRINKS RICH IN CAFFEINE OR ALCOHOL TEND TO ABSORB THE MOISTURE CONTENT IN THE HUMAN BODY!
Spicy food:
Better avoid spicy food items during the summer! The spicy food will tend to increase perspiration leading to further removal of the body moisture consent!
Some food items to include:
Taking a suitable excess quantum of water-rich vegetables such as cucumber or fruits such as water melon will surely prevent the loss of body moisture content! The body also will remain healthy!
ABOVE ALL, AVOID VENTURING OUT ESPECIALLY IN THE PERIOD BETWEEN 11.00 AM TO 3.00 PM!!
