The number of trips and the quantity of garbage removed from the places could be monitored by the residents of Chennai. A new facility would be provided in the GCC website for the sake of monitoring the conservancy works. Sounds amazing isn’t it!!
It was pointed out by the Chennai Corporation commissioner Mr. G. Prakash that the details of the garbage removed would be released on the social media platforms. It is worthy to note that yesterday Mr. Prakash was busy inaugurating a conservancy control room that was set up by the Urbaser-Sumeet. He spoke about how the Chennai residents would be able to keep an eye on the abnormalities in the conservancy works. He added that the details would be released real time on the website.
In as many as 7 zones out of 15 GCC zones, Urbaser-Summit has been handed over the conservancy works and these zones included Adyar, Kodambakkam, Teynampet and Perungudi etc.
