Pongal Gift cash Rs. 2500 - if not availed now, can it be got later? TN Govt explains!

The State Government of Tamil Nadu had announced that in case the Pongal cash gift is not received from ration shops, the card holder need to visit again n 13th January to receive it.
For the Pongal in the year 2021, the State Government of Tami |Nadu has announced a free Dhoti and a sari and a cash of Rs. 2500 will be given along with the other grocery items.
Accordingly, the distribution of tokens for receiving the above Pongal special gifts had commenced from yesterday (Saturday, 26th December. The distribution of tokens will conclude n 30th December. After this, the Pongal gift Package will be distributed from all ration shops from 4th January until 12th January.
The ration-card holders who could not get the Pongal Gift Package on the above days can visit the respective ration shops on 13th January. Further, the ration-card holders have t visit their respective ration shops ONLY ON THE DATES SPECIFIED. When visiting the ration shop for this purpose, the cardholder MUST WEAR FACE MASKS AND 1-METRE SOCIAL DISTANCING GAP.
Moreover, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has explained that in case there are any complaints in this regard, the concerned card holders can make the complaint to the concerned Tahsildar through the cell phones.
