Warning from IT Dept - Do not trust SMS regarding IT refund!

In a general routine, a system is being followed where a specific amount is deducted from the monthly salaries of the employees under the category ‘Tax Deducted at Source’ (TDS). Once the Income Tax Returns are filed, the employees can get refund f the balance amount after the calculated Income Tax.
In this regard, it is recently observed that maloperations are happening.
The Officials of the Income Tax Department shared on this issue:
“False SMS messages are sent to Income Taxpayers. It is mentioned in these S||M|S that ‘a specific amount is being made ready as a refund t you. Visit the given URL and fill-up the form for a refund!’
Please do not follow these messages and enter the given websites. Please note that such messages ARE NOT being sent by the IT Department!
