
Unlock-3, announced by the central government to be implemented from 1st August has the following main relaxations/factors:
- Night curfew totally removed.
- Independence Day to be celebrated strictly following social distance.
- A limited number of local flights will be permitted.
- Gyms and Yoga Centres will be permitted to function from 1st August.
- International flights continue to be banned. However, the central government operation of bringing back stranded Indians abroad will continue.
- Permission WILL NOT BE GIVEN TO OPEN SCHOOLS UNTIL 31ST AUGUST. This decision has been taken after thorough review with the state governments.
- Depending on the coronavirus pandemic impact/status, the state governments may take their own decisions.
- The ban on amusement parks, Alcoholic liquour bars, auditoriums continues.
- Both travel within the state or outside to another state by individuals and goods transport will be allowed.
- E-pass will not be mandatory.
- Ban on festivals, political meetings, and sports events will continue.
- Also, the ban on metro rail, cinema theatres/multiplexes and swimming pools continues.
