100% Lockdown to be strictly observed in Tamil Nadu tomorrow (5th July, Sunday)!

As a preventive measure against the spread of the raging coronavirus pandemic, 100% lockdown is strictly imposed for 1-day tomorrow - Sunday, 5th July. The State Government of Tamil Nadu has already announced this stating that only essential services will function on 5th July such as hospitals and pharmacies.
As a check against the spread of the raging coronavirus pandemic, 100% lockdown is already under implementation in Chennai Metro City and its suburbs. This lockdown will change into general lockdown conditions with relaxations from Monday, 6th July.
Meanwhile, as mentioned at the start, 100% strict lockdown will be observed for one day tomorrow (Sunday, 5th July) throughout the state of Tamil Nadu.
It may be noted at this juncture that the State Government of Tamil Nadu has already announced that all the Sundays in the month of July will be 100% lockdown.
After this 100% lockdown observation on Sunday, general lockdown imposition with certain relaxations will be implemented in the Chennai Metro City and its suburbs. 100% lockdown is already prevailing in the Chennai (district) Metro City and its suburbs and Madurai District from 19th June. This is set to conclude on 5th July tomorrow (Sunday).
