The Madurai Branch of the Chennai High Court has ordered the State Government of Tamil Nadu to check and analyse the medicine for the coronavirus pandemic invented by a Siddha Doctor.

Madurai Siddha Doctor Subramanian had filed a petition in the Chennai High Court Madurai branch to check/analyse/test the medicine he had invented impro and to announce the results.

When this petition came up for enquiry, the judges raised several questions to the Tamil Nadu Government:

  • On what basis kabasurakudineer and nilavembu kashayam are recommended as a cure for coronavirus pandemic?
  • Why the medicines invented by approved doctors have not been tested?
  • On what tests basis kabasura kudineer and nilavembu kashayam are recommended?

The judges adjourned the case after raising the above questions for the central and state governments to answer.

Accordingly, this case came up for enquiry today (24th June). At this juncture, the explanation was given on behalf of the Tamil Nadu State Government and the central Government.

Kabasura kudineer and nilavembu kashayam are given based on the recommendations of the Indian Medical Research Council.

Another medicine, homoeopathic, Arsenic Album is also given based on a recommendation as above.

The State Government of Tamil Nadu has planned to set up a research centre at Chennai Arumbakkam at a cost of Rs. 12 Crores.

Subsequently, the Court ordered the State Government of Tamil Nadu to test the medicine impro for the coronavirus invented by the Siddha Doctor Subramanian. The court also ordered that a team of medical experts must be set up for this testing.

The medicine invented by Siddha Doctor Subramanian must be handed over to the Homeopathic Director. Testing must be undertaken on 26th June with all the required documents. The High Court ordered that the team of Medical Experts should test and submit a report by 30th June.
