Ola cab services have gained huge popularity in the last few years in Chennai. Many Chennai residents travel by this online cab service to their places of destinations. Even since the lockdown began in March in Chennai, these Ola cab services have been suspended.
The news that has come out now is online cab service provider Ola had launched Ola emergency for the purpose of emergency commutes. Important information is Ola emergency has been enabled in the smart phone application.
In the times of medical emergency, there are some residents who do not have any access to the hospitals in Chennai. These residents could now feel happy and relieved regarding their transport to the hospitals during critical situations. This was mentioned in the statement. Beginning from 19th June 2020, Ola cab services would be available for all non-Coronavirus related medical trips from home to hospitals and vice-versa.
Across the Chennai city, Ola cab services have mapped more than 350 hospitals into the app. The cab services would be available even for carrying people from and to airports, railway stations etc.
Point is this online cab service provider Ola has equipped all driver-partners with hygiene kits, safety equipment. It had also implemented preventive measures.
Flexible cancellation policy:
Ola cab services have introduced flexible cancellation services that would allow either party cancel the ride. This could be done if either party (that is driver and passenger) feel that the other is not following rules that must be followed to prevent the spread of Coronavirus infection.
