More number of Coronavirus positive cases in the police department of TN

The police department of Chennai has come out with the information that their department is now having more than 500 Coronavirus persons.
On Monday, the number of police personnel who have been affected with Coronavirus infection was 491 and this went beyond 500 on Tuesday. Among the latest 20 Covid-19 patients, an assistant commissioner is present now. The TN police department is now in the second position among the list of all police departments regarding the number of Coronavirus positive cases. This was brought out by data from the Indian Police Foundation. It is known that the Maharashtra police department is ranked one in the number of persons affected with the Coronavirus issue.
Information collected is TN police department has 560 Coronavirus cases whereas Maharashtra police department has got more than 3000 cases. After receiving treatment for Coronavirus infection, many police personnel has reported for the duty once again and the number stands at 184. On Tuesday, the number of affected persons at the state police headquarters alone stood at 30.
Indian Police Foundation data had shown that throughout India as much as 57 police personnel have passed away due to Coronavirus infection and 33 were from the state of Maharashtra.
