AICTE: Online sessions mandatory for all semesters for engineering courses

All India Technical Education Council (AITEC) has ordered making the online teaching sessions mandatory as a part of the course in all universities and colleges.
As per this, the colleges/universities will have to select 1 online subject from the SWAYAM website suitable to their present syllabus and teach the students online.
It has been ordered to allot 20% marks for the online courses selected in each semester.
The head of AICTE, Anil Sahasrabudhe, has sent a circular all universities and colleges to implement the above proposal from the next academic year.
