13 fold increase in the Coronavirus cases in Sholinganallur, Adyar and Madhavaram zones now

The news that has now come out is the number of Corona virus-positive cases have become more in Adyar zone, Sholinganallur zone, and in Madhavaram zone in the month of May. This has been according to the statistics released by GCC.
It is now known that the focus is more now in the zones like Royapuram, Thiru-Vi-Ka Nagar, and Kodambakkam zones.
The number of Corona virus-positive cases has increased 448 percent in the Adyar zone from 4th May to 10th May. At this time, in the Royapuram zone, there has been a 107 percent rise in positive cases. In the zones like Sholinganallur and Madhavaram, the cases went up by 4.2 times and 5.1 times respectively.
From 4th May to 17th May, Sholinganallur zone registered 13- fold increase in the cases and Adyar and Madhavaram zones registered 11.6 times increase. The containment zones in Thiru-Vi-Ka Nagar have worked well and this has shown in the least surge.
