In Chennai, many small electronic shops opened, but their business affected

The second largest market for electronic items in India, Ritchie Street in Chennai is not yet opened.
This has affected many small electronic shops in Chennai as these shops could not get the spare parts due to Ritchie Street being closed. It must be noted that the government has relaxed the lock down norms and various guidelines have been imposed to open electronic shops in Chennai.
An electronic shop owner belonging to T. Nagar spoke his heart out. He explained about how after reopening his shop few days back headset was sold very quickly. He mentioned that Ritchie Street wasn�t opened and he was unable to repair mobile screens and other parts etc.
It must be taken into account that he had repaired some electronic gadgets in his house itself in the lock down period after meeting the customers online. Not only electronic shop owners have been affected now due to the Ritchie Street closure but also many customers too. The decrease in the availability of spare parts has resulted in sudden increase in the prices.
It must not be forgotten that the traders belonging to Ritchie Street have been appealing to the government to allow them to resume their work.
