Lockdown: Stringent monitoring by police in Tamil Nadu!

With the lockdown imposition in the state, police have been stringently monitoring movements of the public.
Police have been taking action on the public who loiter around the streets without any specific reason.
The Tamil Nadu Police Department has informed that so far 3,86,509 persons have been arrested so far and they have been released on bail.
Over the last 24 hours alone, 10,913 persons have been arrested and released.
Further, 3,25,851 vehicles have been seized in violation of lockdown conditions.
So far, 3,66,430 cases have been booked and a penalty of Rs. 3.76 Crores has been collected.
