The State government Department of Health, Tamil Nadu, has informed that today (Tuesday, 28th April), 121 more persons have been confirmed with coronavirus infection! With this, the total number of affected persons has increased to 2,058!
103 persons were confirmed with coronavirus infection today in the Chennai Metro City alone. With this, the total number of persons affected by coronavirus has increased to 673!
On a single day today, 27 persons have recovered, making the total number of people recovered to 1,128 so far.
With 1 person dying, the total loss of lives has gone up to 25, as per the State Government Health Department.
There are 30,692 peoples under home surveillance in Tamil Nadu. 47 peoples are under government surveillance.
Only five districts in Tamilnadu - Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Namakkal, and Kallakurichi - have been affected today.
