Total lock down in Chengalpet district till 29th April 2020

It has been announced that till 29th of April 2020 there would be total lock down in Chengalpet district. This has been done to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
According to an order from the government of TN, there would be total lock down in places such as Tambaram, Pallavaram, Pammal, Anakhaputhur, Sembakkam etc belonging to the Chengalpet district from 26th April to 29th April 2020. Split up from Kancheeputram district, Chengalpet district is newly formed district in TN. It must be taken into account that the Chengalpet government hospital is the largest government hospital in the district and is considered as a landmark.
