Administration belonging to Aavin milk has announced that milk, other milk products etc would be supplied to the consumers at their door steps.
It is known that from 26th to 29th April 2020 there would be total lock down in the districts of Chennai, Madurai and Coimbatore. In the same way, there would be total lock down in the districts of Salem and Tiruppur from 26th to 28th April 2020. This has been announced by the chief minister of TN, Mr. E. Palaniswamy.
In this scenario of total lock down, done to control the spread of Covid-19 in the above mentioned districts, Aavin administration has revealed that it would supply milk and milk products to the houses of the consumers.
Aavin has joined hands with Zomato, Dunzo etc to supply milk to the consumers at their doorsteps from 24th April 2020. Temporary shops would also be set up in few important places. It is revealed that the deposit amount for the Aavin agents has been reduced to Rs 1000. Point is Aavin administration has asked the business enterprises to make use of this opportunity to sell more aavin milk.
Arrangements have been made so that Aavin milk would be available in the grocery shops, super markets etc. The sale of Aavin milk has increased from 22.5 lakhs to 24 lakhs by continuous action.
Important information is protective operations against Corona virus have been followed right from the purchasing of milk by the owners till the milk packets distribution to the consumers. The persons who come to work in Aavin are being tested for Corona virus and then sent to their work. Steps have been taken to ensure uninterrupted supply of milk to the consumers.
