These 3 important zones in Chennai contributes 57% of Corona virus cases

There are as many as 15 zones in the Chennai Corporation is known.
The important piece of news that has come out now is 3 zones namely Royapuram zone, Tondiarpet zone and Thiru-Vi-Ka Nagar have contributed 57 percent of Corona positive cases in Chennai city. Information collected is out of total number of 354 Corona virus positive cases in Chennai as many as 204 cases have come from these 3 zones only. These 3 zones are situated closely to each other are known.
It was later revealed by an official data on Tuesday that these 3 zones have accounted for as many as 36 cases out of a total of 55 positive cases in Chennai city. Important point here is Royapuram which is a Covid-19 hot spot reported as many as 24 news positive cases and by that the total number of positive cases rose to 116 on Wednesday.
It was later pointed out by a senior official belonging to GCC that increase in the number of positive cases on Tuesday was just an aberration ad Chennai city�s average was consistent with the overall average on a downtrend. Point here is out of 55 positive cases reported on Tuesday just 2 were new cases the rest were from clusters identified by contact tracing.
As per an official belonging to the health department, just similar to the rest of TN the initial cases in Chennai were from same cluster and these tested positive initially for Covid-19 were from these 3 zones. An official mentioned about how Royapuram comprises of localities having narrow streets and many buildings with common staircases. He explained about how for the sake of testing those belonging to the entire building were tested and not just the family members. Information collected is testing for Covid-19 is still going on.
