With the raging coronavirus pandemic spreading fast, far and wide all over the world, with situation worsening by the passing day, causing severe hardships and great panic among the citizens, the 2nd Phase of the lockdown imposition in India is all set to conclude on 3rd May!
In this situation, when the preventive measures have not been that successful in containing the spreading virus of the coronavirus infection, another raher serious question has arisen: whether the lockdown imposition get extended in case the spread of the raging coronavirus pandemic is not checked and brought under control?
In this scenario, the Chennai Metro Transport Corporation has released a circular regarding the guideline to be strictly followed after 4th May�
Passengers without wearing face masks will not be permitted to board the bus.
The driver and the conductor must regularly wash the hands with sanitizer/soap after every fixed interval.
Passnegers must also keep the social distancing between one another!
There are other conditions as well!
With the release of these guidelines, the question has arisen whether the transport services are set to resume operations from 4th May!
However, it is gathered that this circular has been issued as a precautionary measure to keep the transport department employees/staff alert and prepared and the official announcements will be released on as per the decisions taken by the state Government of Tamil Nadu!
